Artist's Bio / Biographie

Ann Kallaste Kruzelecky spent much of her childhood in rural Northern Ontario (the region known today as Temiskaming Shores). Early pencil drawings were of horses and lettering. She moved with her family to the West Island of Montreal, Quebec in 1994. She holds a BFA from Concordia University (with Distinction, Major Painting and Drawing, Minor in Art Education - Visual Arts). She paints in a variety of mediums and has participated in numerous group and solo shows. She has taught educational programs (drawing and watercolours) at the Cummings Center and the West Island Women's Center. Ann is an Elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Lakeshore Association of Artists. Over the past decade she has devoted many hours in support of a variety of artist's associations including:

Ann Kallaste-Kruzelecky a passé sa jeunesse dans le nord de l’Ontario (la région connue de nos jours sous le nom de Temiskaming Shores). Ses premiers dessins au crayon étaient des chevaux et des lettres. Sa famille et elle s’installent au Québec en 1994. Elle a un baccalauréat ès arts de l'Université Concordia (avec distinction, Majeur en peinture et dessin et mineur en éducation artistique - arts visuel). Elle peinture dans une variété de médiums, et participe à de nombreuses expositions collectives et solo. Elle a enseigné des programme éducatifs (dessin et aquarelles) aux Centre Cummings et le Centre des Femmes West Island. Ann est un membre elus de à la Société des Artistes Canadiens et l'Association des artistes de Lakeshore. Au cours de la dernière décennie, elle a consacré de nombreuses heures à l'appui des associations d'artistes, y compris:
